These Terms of Use govern your use of Barbers Network. By using the platform, you agree to these terms.
1. Platform Role
Barbers Network is a technology platform that connects users with independent service professionals. We do not directly provide services.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform • You agree to provide accurate information • You are responsible for activity under your account
3. Bookings and Services
• Users may request and schedule services through the platform • Service professionals may accept or reject requests • Booking details, pricing, and timing are shown in the app
4. Payments
• Payments are processed through third-party payment providers • Prices may include service fees, platform fees, taxes, and other applicable charges • Refunds, if any, are subject to the cancellation and refund policy
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
• Users may cancel or reschedule subject to applicable policy and timing rules • Cancellation fees may apply depending on when the cancellation occurs • No-shows may result in charges
6. SMS Messaging
By providing your mobile number and booking a service, you agree to receive text messages from Barbers Network Inc relating to your account and your bookings. These messages are transactional only — we do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Message types include account verification codes, booking confirmations and status updates, service start and completion codes, provider arrival and availability updates, and receipt links. • Message frequency varies based on your booking activity • Message and data rates may apply • Reply STOP to cancel SMS messages at any time • Reply HELP for assistance, or email support@barbersnetwork.com • You can manage notifications by channel from Profile → Notification Preferences Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Opting out of SMS may prevent us from sending you time-sensitive booking information such as verification codes, which may affect your ability to complete a booking. 7. User Conduct
You agree not to: • Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes • Harass, abuse, or threaten others • Provide false or misleading information • Circumvent platform payments or terms
8. Professional Conduct
Service professionals are independent contractors and are solely responsible for the services they provide.
9. Ratings and Reviews
Users may leave ratings and reviews. Reviews must be truthful and respectful. We may remove content that violates our policies.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, fraud, abuse, or safety concerns.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barbers Network is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or services.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Barbers Network harmless from claims arising out of your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or violation of any rights of another party.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
